2022 Newport Christmas Night Parade"Christmas Nights & Magical Lights"
The Cocke County Partnership is excited to present the 2022 Newport Christmas Night parade! The parade will take place on Friday, December 2, 2022 beginning promptly at 6:30 pm. The parade begins at Debbie's Drive-In, continues east along Broadway through downtown Newport, and will finish at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church.
This year we ask that parade participants embrace the theme - "Christmas Nights & Magical Lights".
Deadline to submit applications is November28, 2022
($10 for floats, $5 for vehicles or horses, $5 for marchers (group of up to 15 people)
After November 28, 2022 an additional $10.00 late fee will be charged and you will not be included in the script for the Facebook Live Streaming.
Parade guidelines, pricing and registration information are available at www.newportcockecountychamber.com/events/christmas-parade/. Applications will be available on the stairs outside the Walters State double doors at 115 Mulberry Street, Newport. You can also print an application or register online at the website above. Parade entry fees are to be submitted with the parade application.
The Parade will be shown again on Facebook live this year, compliments of the City of Newport. It will also be available for later viewing on YouTube and the Cocke County Partnership's webpage.

Staging will begin at 4:30 PM in 15-minute increments at the CCHS parking lot. You will be notified of what time you need to be at the parking lot to line up a few days before the parade.
Route information: Parade begins at Cocke County High School and will end at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. (DUE TO SAFETY AND TRAFFIC CONTROL we ask that everyone must follow the route to completion at Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church). Horses, Tractors & ATVs that will be returning to Cocke County High School: you MUST continue to the end of the parade route and an escort will be waiting to provide a safe return back to Cocke County High School.
