Flag Retirement Ceremony – Cocke County

Please join us for a respectful and patriotic Flag Retirement Ceremony hosted by AMVETS Post 75 on Flag Day.

Over 500 worn American flags will be retired during this special day of honor. The program will feature:

• Participation from the William Clark Chapter – DAR, Scouts, and the National Guard (celebrating its 250th birthday)

• Quilts of Valor presented by the Parrottsville Quilt Guild

• A patriotic ceremony and proper flag disposal

If you have flags in need of retirement, you may bring them to the event or drop them off at Newport Printing in advance. This event is open to the public; please bring a lawn chair. Come honor our flag, our history, and those who have served.
