The City of Newport, the Newport Main Street Association, and the Cocke County Long Term Recovery Group invite the community to a special event marking the one-year anniversary of the devastating floods caused by Hurricane Helene.

This evening will honor where Newport and Cocke County were in the aftermath of the flood, celebrate the progress made in the past year, and preview the vision for continued growth.

Event Highlights:

• 🎨 Local artists showcasing their arts, crafts, and handmade items

• 📖 A story trail highlighting businesses impacted by the flood and their path to recovery

• 🚌 ABC bus and C5 reading wagon
