The Thanksgiving weekend has become synonymous with holiday gift shopping. With Black Friday and Small Business Saturday back to back, it's no wonder! We want to remind you (and reward you) of all the benefits in shopping local. Supporting your community by shopping local gives more than just gifts to the people you love. Your tax dollars help support roads, police and fire departments, parks and playgrounds, jobs, and schools.
We've partnered with Commercial Bank, where community matters, to bring our community a special Shop Local flyer published in the Thanksgiving edition of the Newport Plain Talk. And most exciting is an opportunity where YOU can win $50 cash! Just by shopping local.
When you shop with local Chamber Members from Nov. 29 through Dec. 1, you can submit a copy of your receipt for a chance to win $50 cash! Receipts can be turned in at the Chamber Office located at 433B Prospect Ave. or submitted online via direct message here or at our Instagram page @cockecountychamber. Winners will be chosen Dec. 6.
