Logistics Supervisor
Job Overview:
Location: 400 TN 73 Edwina Rd, Newport
Shift & Schedule: 2nd Shift | Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Overtime as needed)
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for leading the safe, efficient, and lean operations of the distribution center’s Shipping & Receiving functions at the Keurig Dr Pepper facility. This role oversees all inbound and outbound logistics related to finished goods. The Supervisor will directly manage a team of Selectors, Forklift Operators, and Shipping & Receiving Specialists while driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Shipping & Receiving teams; develop and implement standard work processes.

Lead and support Continuous Improvement initiatives using Kaizen, TPM, and 5S methodologies.

Foster a positive, high-performance culture aligned with KDP values through servant leadership and clear communication.

Enforce compliance with GMPs, PPE requirements, OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations.

Ensure effective collaboration with cross-functional departments including Planning, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Finance, and Safety.

Manage schedules, payroll time edits, and key performance indicators (KPIs); generate timely reports for leadership.

Drive associate engagement and accountability by promoting fair, consistent performance management practices.

Conduct daily facility checks (e.g., safety equipment, dock doors, forklifts, cleanliness).

Provide leadership coverage for logistics staff during absences as needed.

Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in Logistics, Distribution, or a similar field will be considered. -
Minimum 3 years of experience in:
-
Distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Supervisory/leadership roles, including managing frontline teams and reporting to senior leadership.

Use of material handling equipment (MHE), FIFO practices, and understanding of warehouse capacity and delivery logistics.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Working knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles strongly preferred.
