Job Description
Ticket sellers are the first point-of-contact for regular guests wishing to seek entry to the attraction. The position is a sales position that offers base hourly wages plus commission for up-selling passes for all of Ripley attractions. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks: • Proficiency in cash handling. • Ability to handle high levels of point-of-sale processing. • Must be energetic, courteous and professional. • Knowledgeable regarding all Ripley attractions. • Ability to retain information on all promotions, events, and discounts that affect ticketing prices. Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to stand for periods of 7-8 hours. • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel in order to address machine needs (card replacement, printer paper, ticket control, etc.). • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: • 0-2 years in a ticket sales background, preferably in the Attractions industry. • Excellent communication skills. • Working knowledge of point-of-sale and cash handling systems. • Strong sales skills. Language: Fluent in English
