The Newport Housing Authority is currently seeking an Information Technology Specialist/Compliance Officer. IT Specialist responsibilities include maintaining and installing computers, computer software and programs, and the NHA social media/website. Must also be familiar with installing and maintaining security cameras, servers, and phone systems. Compliance Officer duties include performing compliance, investigations, and security and requires independent actions and decision making.

Applicants must have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with residents, community groups, local law enforcement, personnel of public and private social agencies, and other officials and employees. This position requires integrity, professionalism, effective communication skills and the ability to multi-task. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Applicants must be a legal citizen and possess a valid driver’s license. A drug screen and background check will be required.
