About Us

AMVETS is the nation's largest veteran's service organization open to anyone who is currently serving, or has honorably served, in the US Armed Forces from World War II to present, to include the National Guard and Reserves.

AMVETS members come from every era- the war on terrorism, Persian Gulf, Vietnam, Korea, World War II and between eras. They're men and women from every branch of service- veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserves.

If fact, they're the only congressionally chartered veterans service organization whose membership is open to anyone who has honorably served in the US Armed Forces since World War II.

That's when AMVETS got its start. What began as a network of widely scattered veterans clubs in 1944 has evolved into a national organization that stands as a powerful advocate of veterans' rights.

AMVETS Post 75 has monthly meetings on the first Thursday of the month at 6 PM. You can contact Commander Rob Watkins for the most current meeting location.
