Dr. Pope graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Center in Baltimore, MD, and completed his general surgical internship and residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, and completed his thoracic surgery residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, University of Missouri in Kansas City. His work has been published in several industry publications, including Surgical Innovation, Surgical Endoscopy, Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, and Obesity Surgery.
